I finally found a pair of white boots that I like (that also weren’t silly money) to wear with my floral maxi dress – a combination I’ve been wanting to wear for ages. It was the tiniest bit milder this weekend, a bit different to the scorching weather we had last week. I could have gladly ditched the jacket again but for once I decided that I should wear my khaki suedette jacket, floral maxi dress and white boots by Kurt Geiger.
I stumbled across a really old outfit on the blog the other day and realised how much I still liked it – in fact I thought to myself that I’d totally wear it again.
Generally my reaction to anything I wore more than three or four years ago is one of horror, but as I liked this outfit from 2017 so much I thought I should go through my outfit archives to see if there were any others that also caught my eye. There were actually more than I thought, and it was quite interesting to see how my style has changed in some respects, but not in others.
First of all I SWEAR I had every intention of getting this look out weeks ago. Once the sunshine came along the green eyed fashion monster (this is me) couldn’t wait unleash the green from my wardrobe. But, as usual, my life has been a crazy mess and in true blogger style, I am posting this half way through the Summer instead of the start as i intended.
Summer is officially here: despite the odd weather we’ve been having the past few days, there is still some sunlight to be seen! And so, with this, comes BBQ’s, cookouts, picnics and just about anything else you can think of. So yes, you’ll need to be prepared to dress at any time in a summer get up so we’ve picked out 10 dresses to impress any time this summer, because all we really need are a few dresses don’t we?
Its Spring, finally, and as our evenings lengthen and our layers lighten (a little), we selected our favourite discounted designer jackets to take us seamlessly from work to weekend. We have added some classic styles that are a certain wardrobe staple and added some little on trend extras to give you an indication of whats going to be hot this Spring/Summer. From high street to high end and sport luxe to summer tux see our top transitional trends. And, in the words of Beyoncé (well kind of), ‘if you like then you should(a) put a ‘Pin’ on it’.
For some of us, lilac will have been the colour of your first eye shadow once applied liberally at school. It will probably have been shimmery and came in a small pot that, at some point, might have let rip inside your bag.
Fashion is forever changing. The biggest trend one the fashion world eventually fade away, while shapes and colours briefly banished are destined to make a come back at some point. It means that fashion-lovers are used to going backward, enthusiastically trying out silhouettes and brands that have a nostalgic element.
